Ellen grew up in a traditional Chinese family, and has been practicing Taoist Qi-Gong (a combination of meditation and exercises focused on nature, men-cosmos correspondence, health and liberty and spontaneity) for more than 20 years. She does her daily meditation with her busy life-style. She believes in Taoist Philosophies and has unique techniques to utilize Qi (energy) into her acupuncture treatment.
Along with treating client's symptoms , Ellen also believes in educating her clients. She feels that if her clients have the knowledge in their own hands, they can start facilitating the healing process and become more in tune with their bodies.
Ellen started her acupuncture practice at OceanWellness in North Vancouver since March 2009. In Sept. 2010. Ellen took a full-time nursing position and left Ocean Wellness at the end of October 2010. Ellen continues her acupuncture practice by seeing clients at home.
